This page was used internally by members of the Global Internet Liberty Campaign during the development of a Member Statement requesting the removal of cryptography from the Wassenaar Arrangement.

The statement was issued on 15th September 1998 and is now available on the Global Internet Liberty Campaign web site.

The statement was developed as part of an International Cryptography Campaign. Links to media releases and the latest information about the campaign is available on the campaign home page.
