Greg Taylor joined EFA in 1995 and became a board member in September 1996.

Greg held the position of Chairperson of EFA from December 2002 to December 2005. He was previously EFA Vice-Chair and Chair of the Crypto Committee. He is now retired from the workforce, having spent most of his working life in information technology.

He has particular interests in on-line privacy, net regulation, censorship, crypto politics and Internet law. He has tertiary qualifications in science, economics, information technology and law.
